EHA Return to Play Info

Updated: Jan 31, 2022

We are excited that coming out of the most recent reopening announcement from the Ontario government and the statement from the GTHL that Erindale can start having practices beginning on January 31 and MHL will begin games starting February 5th.

Erindale and the rest of the MHL associations have been working on a plan to mitigate the impact of missed games and practices. As part of the new plan, the regular season and playoffs will be extended into April and we will be playing games during March Break. The practice schedule will be extended to match the extended season. Some games may have to be scheduled at different times than you are used to including weekdays. We appreciate your understanding and hopefully you are as excited as we are about these changes to provide as much hockey as possible.

Based on the current capacity restrictions there will be limits of the number of people allowed in dressing rooms and for parents and fans in the stands. We will need to continue to follow the protocols laid out in the GTHL’s game plan 2.0. An update to the Game Plan is expected in the next couple of days. A link will be up on our website when it is released.
