A Message from Greg:

To my EHA Family,

For the last two years I had the pleasure of serving as the President of the Erindale Hockey Association. It is 22 years now that I’ve been part of the Erindale family and 18 as part of the Board of Directors. It was a difficult decision to leave this role to take on the leadership of the Mississauga Hockey League. Knowing that there is an incredibly committed and talented Board at Erindale I knew the Association would remain in capable hands. I congratulate Arn Kashino on accepting the President’s role!

Erindale is a special place for families to bring their kids to play hockey. Erindale has a great Board, excellent coaches and a very deep commitment to the kids that play the game. When you come here you can be absolutely sure that both the kids and their families will have amazing fun and make great friends while they develop to become the best hockey players they can be. Every year Erindale teams have lots of successes but the most important measure of our success is the incredibly high percentage of players who return every year for another great season of Spitfire hockey. At Erindale we know that kids who have fun playing the game will want to come to the rink, want to work hard and want to succeed with their friends.

As I move over to lead the MHL I will remain involved in Erindale as a coach. This is the most rewarding role I've held over the years and it is great to be able now to have coached with my sons and to see other kids I’ve coached giving back to the game in the same way. I want to work hard at the MHL to help all 6 MHL Associations grow the base of hockey players in Mississauga to make the league as strong as it can be. We want the MHL to be the most diverse hockey league in the country and we want to make it a place where every child can feel safe on the ice, in the dressing rooms and around the rinks. We want our parents to remember kids play hockey to have fun more than anything else and the best way for this to happen is to have as much respect shown in the stands as there is on the ice. I hope you all can help us make this happen.

I look forward to seeing everyone around the rinks throughout the City over the 2025-2026 season.
